From first search to first day at work in three steps.
Step 1
Every listing on SponsorJobs is from an employer who is either an approved sponsor or actively becoming one — no dead ends.
Step 2
Match your occupation and qualifications to roles on Australia's Skills in Demand list before you apply.
Step 3
Your employer lodges the 482 nomination, you apply for the visa, and you start your new life in Australia.
The Skills in Demand visa is Australia's main employer-sponsored pathway for skilled overseas workers. Here's what you should know.
Find roles you qualify forThe 482 Skills in Demand visa lets an approved Australian business employ you in a genuine vacancy they cannot fill locally.
Stay for up to 4 years depending on your occupation and stream, with a pathway to extend while your employer remains approved.
Bring your partner and dependent children. They can usually live, study and work in Australia for the length of your visa.
List your vacancy to candidates who are pre-screened, qualification-matched and genuinely ready to relocate. We help you understand your sponsorship obligations and connect with migration-registered advisers.
"We filled two hard-to-staff nursing roles in regional Victoria within eight weeks of listing. The candidates arrived sponsorship-ready and already understood the process."

The Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) lets approved Australian employers sponsor skilled overseas workers for roles they cannot fill from the local labour market. You must work in your nominated occupation for your sponsor.
Most occupations require at least 1–2 years of relevant work experience plus a qualification or registration that matches the occupation's listing — for example AHPRA registration for nurses.
The employer pays the sponsorship fees and the Skilling Australians Fund levy. Be wary of anyone asking you to pay for a job offer — legitimate sponsors never charge candidates for sponsorship.
Yes. Many 482 holders move to permanent employer-sponsored visas after working for their sponsor, subject to occupation, age and English requirements at the time.
